International Experiences, Football Tours & Clinics Cancellation Policy

Cancellation Requests

Any participant wishing to cancel their participation in an international football tour, overseas training camp, football clinic, exchange program, scouting event, or educational experience organized by Yakoma Sports Academy (General Santos City, Pangasinan, and Manila, Philippines) must submit a formal written cancellation request via email to : yakomasportsevents@gmail.com

Cancellation requests will only be considered valid upon written confirmation of receipt by the Academy.

Refund Eligibility

Participants who provide written notice of cancellation at least ninety (90) calendar days before the scheduled departure or program commencement date may be eligible for a refund.

Approved refunds will be subject to a non-refundable administration and processing fee of USD $1,000 per participant.

The refund amount will be calculated as follows:

Cancellations Within 90 Days

If a cancellation request is received less than ninety (90) calendar days before the scheduled commencement date of the program, no refund, credit, transfer, or reimbursement shall be provided.

This policy applies regardless of the reason for cancellation, including but not limited to:

Illness or injury;
Personal circumstances;
Academic commitments;
Visa issues;
Travel restrictions affecting the participant;
Family emergencies;
Change of plans;
Failure to obtain required documentation.

Parents, guardians, and participants are strongly encouraged to obtain comprehensive travel insurance that includes cancellation coverage.

Program Interruptions and Force Majeure Events

In the event that an international experience, football tour, clinic, or overseas program is interrupted, postponed, modified, or cancelled due to circumstances beyond the reasonable control of Yakoma Sports Academy, including but not limited to:

Natural disasters;
Pandemics or epidemics;
Government restrictions;
Political instability;
Armed conflict;
Public health emergencies;
Airline disruptions;
Venue closures;
Extreme weather events;
Other force majeure events;

the Academy reserves the right to provide a program credit rather than a cash refund.

Any approved credit may be applied toward a future Yakoma Sports Academy international experience, tour, clinic, camp, or related program within a period determined by the Academy.

Limitation of Liability

Yakoma Sports Academy shall not be liable for any indirect or consequential losses resulting from program cancellation, postponement, interruption, or modification, including but not limited to:

Airline tickets;
Hotel bookings;
Visa fees;
Travel insurance costs;
Transportation expenses;
Loss of income;
Personal expenses;
Opportunity costs;
Any other related costs incurred by participants or their families.

Any liability of the Academy shall be limited solely to the remedies outlined in this policy.

Participant Acknowledgement

By registering for any Yakoma Sports Academy international experience, football clinic, football tour, or overseas program, participants and their parents or guardians acknowledge that they have read, understood, and agreed to this Cancellation and Refund Policy.
